Generally speaking, resin-based adhesives achieve bonding through a curing reaction, while solvent-based adhesives achieve bonding through the final evaporation of the solvent. Resin-type adhesives are characterized by better bonding effects, no bubbles, no whitening, and high strength after bonding. The disadvantages are complex operation, high difficulty, long curing time, slow speed, and difficulty in adapting to the requirements of mass production. The general solvent adhesive is characterized by fast speed and can meet the requirements of mass production. The disadvantage is that the bonded products are prone to bubbles, whitening, and poor weather resistance, which directly affects the appearance and output quality of acrylic products.

Therefore, in the processing of acrylic products, how to choose the appropriate adhesive and improve the taste and grade of acrylic products is a big problem that must be solved first in the bonding process. Acrylic shadowless adhesive can achieve bonding between acrylics by dissolving acrylic and releasing the curing agent to participate in the curing reaction. From a physical and chemical perspective, it has the same characteristics as the above two adhesives; from the perspective of operability and bonding effect, it completely overcomes their shortcomings and has their advantages.

1. Docking Place the two acrylic boards to be joined horizontally on the operating platform, close them together, and stick a piece of tape on the bottom, leaving a gap no larger than 0.3mm wide for application of adhesive. Use a syringe to inject the Clebon adhesive evenly and slowly from one side through the gap until it is completely filled. When it is completely solidified, remove the tape.

2. Facade bonding Facade bonding is the most widely used bonding technology and is widely used in the production of various acrylic products. The surface to be bonded should first be wiped clean. It is best to use a master to achieve bonding so that the bonded object does not shake, which is beneficial to improving the quality of the bonding. When bonding acrylic plates with a thickness of less than 3mm, you can directly use a syringe to evenly and slowly inject the Crebond adhesive from one side to complete the bonding. For bonding acrylic boards with a thickness greater than 3mm, thin metal wires can be inserted and capillary action is used to complete the bonding. The metal wires can be pulled out before the adhesive solidifies, or the parts that do not need to be bonded can be protected with tape, leaving Apply adhesive to the adhesive area, then place the acrylic plate at an angle to squeeze out the air bubbles.

3. Bevel bonding The bonding bevel must be molded at a 90-degree angle to prevent the bonded surface from shifting. The Cribon adhesive should be applied evenly and slowly. The master can only be removed after it has completely cured.

4. Planar bonding Flat bonding is a rather special method. First, wipe the adhesive surface clean, place it horizontally, and apply an appropriate amount of Cribon product on it. Place one side of another acrylic sheet diagonally on top of the adhesive-coated acrylic, then lower it evenly and slowly, squeezing out the air bubbles from one side to complete the bonding.

5. Precautions 1. All acrylic adhesives can corrode the surface of the acrylic board and leave traces that are difficult to remove. Therefore, you can use stickers to protect the parts that do not need to be bonded. 2. Grease, dust or pores will make it difficult to apply the adhesive evenly and leave bubbles, so they must be removed before bonding. 3. If the amount of adhesive is too small during bonding, air will be brought in when the adhesive shrinks. 4. Direct blowing will cause the edges of the bonding surface to turn white due to the rapid evaporation of the adhesive. 5. Indoor temperature, temperature and other factors also have a certain impact on the bonding of acrylic panels. 6. The stress on the surface of the acrylic plate as well as the surface stress and degradation products caused by the cutting tool will affect the bonding effect of the acrylic plate.
