Why Does Glue Line Width Become Uneven in Manual Acrylic Gluing?
Share
Uneven glue line width usually happens because manual pressure changes during gluing. When the operator presses harder, more glue comes out. When the pressure becomes weaker, the glue line becomes thinner or may even break. Electric dispensing uses adjustable flow settings to help keep glue output more stable.
1.Why does glue line width become uneven?
Glue line width changes when the amount of glue coming out is not stable. In manual syringe gluing, the output depends on how strongly the operator presses. Small changes in hand pressure can create a wider or narrower line, especially during long bonding work.
2.Why is hand pressure difficult to control?
Hand pressure is affected by speed, fatigue, product angle, and worker experience. At the beginning of a line, the operator may press harder. Near the end, the hand may slow down or become tired. If different workers handle the same order, the glue line may also look different.
3.How does flow adjustment stabilize glue output?
With electric dispensing, the operator can select a flow level and use it repeatedly. This helps make the glue amount more predictable. The operator still controls movement and position, but the glue output is less dependent on hand strength, which improves consistency in repeated acrylic bonding.
