First Article Inspection for Clear Acrylic Joints
Share
Before a batch begins, inspect one completed joint for bubbles, overflow, gaps, bead consistency, alignment and strength after the required cure. Approval prevents the same setup error from reaching an entire order.
1.Why this matters
Inspect under consistent lighting and after the joint has stabilized. A hot or freshly bonded part may look different later. Keep the approved sample or clear photographs beside the workstation so operators have a visible acceptance standard.
2.Practical checklist
· Define visual and functional acceptance separately.
· Use consistent lighting, measurement and cure or cooling time.
· Keep an approved sample or clear reference photographs.
3.How it applies
Glueasy's electric gluing machine uses a bottle-fed sealed path, 10-255 flow levels, a listed 0.01-5 ml/s range and 0.6-0.9 mm needles. Standard and UV-compatible versions should be selected according to the actual adhesive.
